It has been an incredibly busy offseason for B.J. McLeod and his entire motorsports operation. Starting with B.J.’s brand new LiveFast Motorsports for the NASCAR Cup Series, to confirming their driver lineup for the NASCAR Xfinity Series between multiple drivers including Stefan Parsons, and Matt Mills.

Adding into the mix for the 2021 BJMM lineup will be Ryan Ellis, announcing on Wednesday that Ellis will get back behind the wheel of a NASCAR Xfinity Series entry for 2021 in a part-time schedule.

“It’s so great to be back with BJ and everyone at BJ McLeod Motorsports. It’s been a few years since I’ve had this number of races secured at this point in the year, so I think 2021 will be a big year,” said Ellis in a media release. “I’m also really excited at how quickly BJ’s program has grown, obviously with the Live Fast team with Matt Tifft and with the addition of the late model team. I have a lot of fun working with this team and I’m excited to be part of their continued growth.”

Ellis will take the wheel of the No. 99 entry in a handful of races in 2021, sharing the seat with Stefan Parsons,  Vinnie Miller, and Mason Massey.

This marks Ellis’ first time since 2016 that he will take on a part-time, multiple race schedule with more than two races in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

“It’s so awesome to have Ryan drive for us again,” said owner McLeod. “His diligence and hard work to get back in a race car pairs well with how we as a team operate, so it’s a great fit for both parties.

The four-race schedule will give Ellis the seat in the No. 99 entry for Darlington, Circuit of the America’s, Mid-Ohio, Road America, Kansas, and Martinsville.

Corvetteparts.net / Keen Parts will take three races as a primary sponsor for Ellis at Darlington, Martinsville, and COTA.

“I can’t thank Tom and TJ Keen for taking the jump with me to secure the number of races we have at this point. They’re some of the best people you’ll ever meet and I’m so lucky to call them friends and sponsors,” said Ellis. I’m also lucky to have great longtime partners like Casey from Audio Video Specialists, Kansasland Tire, and Bachtel Excavating who will be on for a race or two.” said Ellis.

The 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series season will go green on Saturday, February 13th at 5:00 p.m. EST on FOX Sports 1 and via the Motor Racing Network.
