Nick Sanchez – a full-time driver in the ARCA Menards Series — will get the opportunity to compete in the NASCAR Xfinity Series on a part-time basis on 2022, driving for BJ McLeod Motorsports.

The 20-year-old will expand an already busy racing schedule in 2022, returning to the ARCA Menards Series for his second consecutive season with REV Racing.

“We are really excited to have Nick make his Xfinity Series debut with us,” said team owner BJ McLeod. “We’re really looking forward to helping him grow in his personal and professional goals as he makes this next step in his career which we are so proud to be a part of.”

Both Sanchez and teammate Rajah Caruth – REV Racing’s other full-time ARCA Menards Series driver — will contest events in the Xfinity Series next season, as Caruth previously announced intentions to run a partial schedule in the No. 44 for Alpha Prime Racing.

“The significance of this next step is very meaningful for me,” said Nick Sanchez. “It’ll obviously be my first time participating in one of the top 3 series of NASCAR, which is something I’ve always dreamed of ever since I started racing. Since the day I first met BJ, we’ve always been on the same page. We both share the same collective goals for next year and I feel he and his team have made significant strides in performance each year they’ve been in the (Xfinity) Series. My main goal next year is to learn and get the most out of the car’s performance, hopefully. yielding some good finishes for myself and the team.”

Additional details regarding partners and Sanchez’s race schedule will come at a later date,
