Logan Bearden, who has spent the last three seasons making sporadic appearances in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, is set to join a growing list of drivers making their NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in Saturday’s Toyota Care 250 at Richmond Raceway.

The 28-year-old driver will be partnering with SS-GreenLight Racing for Saturday’s 250-lap contest, where he’ll pilot the No. 14 Chevrolet Camaro. Sponsorship for the effort will come from Bearden Automotive.

A native of Leander, Texas, Bearden has made three NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts with AM Racing over the last two seasons, two at his home track of Circuit of The Americas, and one at Indianapolis Raceway Park last Fall – where he earned a career-best 21st-place finish.

Bearden joins a crop of four drivers that will be making their debuts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series this weekend at Richmond Raceway, including Taylor Gray (No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing), Bubba Pollard (No. 88 JR Motorsports), and Morgen Baird (No. 6 JD Motorsports).

In the opening five races of the NASCAR Xfinity Series campaign, SS-GreenLight Racing has had three different drivers behind the wheel of the No. 14 Chevrolet Camaro, including NASCAR Cup Series driver Daniel Suarez – in a partnership with Kaulig Racing – as well as JJ Yeley, and most recently, RC Enerson at Circuit of The Americas.

Entering Saturday’s Toyota Care 250 at Richmond Raceway, the entry sits 30th in NASCAR Xfinity Series owner points, having recorded a single top-20 result at Phoenix Raceway with veteran racer JJ Yeley behind the wheel.

With MBM Motorsports making the decision to withdraw from Saturday’s event, there are only 38 drivers on the entry list, meaning Bearden, along with the other drivers attempting to make their series debuts, will get the opportunity to take the green flag.
