Following the race, Custer’s race-winning No. 00 Stewart-Haas Racing Haas Automation Ford Mustang Dark Horse was taken to the garage for the customary post-race inspection procedure. Custer’s car was given a thumbs up in tech, which allowed NASCAR to officially name Custer and his team the official winners of Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Pocono.

Custer, who won three races on his path to the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship last year, came into the race as the regular-season point leader, but he had yet to find victory lane in 2024. That’s not a problem for the driver of the No. 00, anymore.

The win marks the 14th of Custer’s 162-race career in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, and it’s his second win in the series at the 2.5-mile Tricky Triangle. Custer also won the 2019 Xfinity Race at Pocono.

No issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings are now considered official.

The No. 17 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet and the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota will be taken to NASCAR R&D for further inspection.

Allgaier has been named the official runner-up finisher ahead of William Byron, Sheldon Creed, and Taylor Gray, who rounded out the top five finishers on the day.
