SS-GreenLight Racing, alongside driver Garrett Smithley, has formed a strategic partnership with BRK Racing as the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series campaign approaches.

BRK Racing is owned by Randy & Beth Knighton, who are the owners of Knight Fire Protection in Olympia, Washington, and long-time supporters of the Pennsylvania native’s racing efforts.

“Beth and I are ecstatic to take our enthusiasm for NASCAR to the next level by partnering with [SS-GreenLight Racing] in the ownership/sponsorship of the No. 14 Xfinity car for the 2025 season,” said Randy Knighton.

In December 2024, SS-GreenLight Racing announced that long-time NASCAR National Series driver Garrett Smithley would be the full-time driver of the No. 14 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Xfinity Series..

“We’re so optimistic about the season,” Beth added. “We can’t wait to see what the combination of Garrett’s experience and maturity in racing, along with the consistency in sponsorship, crew, and care chief, and access to better quality equipment will bring for him and the team. We think Garrett can accomplish great things this year.”

Since debuting in the second-tier series back in 2015, Smithley has been able to amass 180 starts, picking up a single top-five finish at Daytona in 2018, and five top-10s, the last of which was at Talladega Superspeedway in 2020, driving for Bobby Dotter and SS-GreenLight Racing.

“We are really excited to have Randy and Beth involved this season,” said SS-GreenLight Racing owner Bobby Dotter. “And having Garrett back, his experience will be crucial to succeeding in 2025. When Garrett has raced for us in the past he did a stellar job, and we look forward to building on that prior success.”
