When you compile a list of the greatest and most iconic paint schemes in NASCAR history, Buddy Baker’s Gray Ghost can not be far down that list. It’s one of the all-time most beautiful and badass schemes ever.

The design was created so that Baker could sneak up on the competition as his car was painted similarly to the pavement in which he was driving on. As Baker won numerous races in the car, including the 1980 Daytona 500, it became a sight of intimidation for many.

Brandon Jones will dust off the Gray Ghost and will run the scheme in the Sports Clips VFW 200 at Darlington Raceway this weekend.

Jones’ No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Supra will be sponsored by Mojo Outdoors and iK9.
