Brad Perez, a fan-favorite in the NASCAR Xfinity Series garage, is returning to Alpha Prime Racing on a part-time basis during the 2025 campaign, the team confirmed on Tuesday.

Perez, who turned 28 years old on January 21, will be competing in at least four NASCAR Xfinity Series events for the organization co-owned by Tommy Joe Martins and Caesar Bacarella.

The Hollywood, Florida-native will pilot the No. 45 Chevrolet while competing in the second-tier series, which will serve as a third, part-time entry for the organization. Parker Retzlaff (No. 4) and Brennan Poole (No. 44) will compete full-time for the team in 2025.

Caesar Bacarella, co-owner of Alpha Prime Racing, will also run select Xfinity Series events in the No. 45, including the season-opener at Daytona.

Perez has spent the last three seasons developing his craft in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and ARCA Menards Series, driving for a number of different organizations.

In 12 starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Perez has recorded a best finish of 18th place at Circuit of The Americas (COTA), while driving for Alpha Prime Racing last season — one of his three top-20s in the second-tier series.

Perez also had a breakout performance at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in the ARCA Menards Series last season, driving for Fast Track Racing, finishing ninth in the No. 10 Toyota.

Alpha Prime Racing did not confirm which NASCAR Xfinity Series events Perez would be running in the No. 45.
