Austin Cindric’s incredible 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season continued in Saturday’s Henry 180 at Road America as he held off a hungry AJ Allmendinger by 1.318 seconds for his fourth win of the year.

Cindric’s latest checkered flag marks the sixth of his NXS career.

Behind Cindric and Allmendinger were Chase Briscoe, Kaz Grala and road ace Andy Lally in the top-five.

Noah Gragson, Ross Chastain, Preston Pardus, Ryan Sieg and Michael Annett rounded out the top-10 finishers in the race.

For Pardus, another road racing ace, this is his second top-10 finish in two starts this season.

The race was strange, as drivers had to bolt on rain tires for a portion of the event as the surface of the road course had become dampened by rain, and the race overcame a more than an hour and a half lightning delay.

The race was relatively clean, aside fro mechanical failures, until a late race melee, which was triggered by Justin Allgaier making a block. Allgaier was sent hard into a concrete barrier and he collected Jeffrey Earnhardt, Myatt Snider and Jeremy Clements as well.
