AJ Allmendinger, who drives a part-time NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule for Kaulig Racing is searching for his second win of the 2020 season. In Saturday’s Henry 180 at Road America, Allmendinger led eight laps en route to a Stage 2 win.

However, in the closing laps of the Stage, many of the other cars in the field pitted to set themselves up for the Final Stage. As a result, Allmendinger should have to fight his way through the field for the overall race win.

Ross Chastain finished second in Stage 2 and he was followed by Stage 1 winner Justin Haley, Josh Bilicki and Andy Lally in third thru fifth.

Kaz Grala, Brandon Brown, Jade Buford, Michael Annett and Scott Heckert rounded out the top-10 in Stage 2.

The Stage ended under caution when Jesse Little skidded off course and into a sand trap. After several laps of trying to tow Little out, the safety crew was finally able to get the No. 4 car out of the kitty litter.
