NASCAR Xfinity Series driver and avid die-cast collector Noah Gragson will carry an appropriate sponsor this weekend at Charlotte Roval.
Lionel Racing, the Official Die-cast of NASCAR, will serve as the primary sponsor of Gragson for the Drive for the Cure 250 on Saturday.
For many NASCAR teams, this weekend at Charlotte Roval is a home track. For Lionel – they couldn’t get much closer to the track as the headquarters for Lionel Racing is located just outside of Turn 1 and 2 of the Charlotte Motor Speedway. The company also has a store in the Concord Mills Mall located just down the road from the speedway.
“It was 10 years ago that Lionel was named The Official Die-Cast of NASCAR, and we marked that announcement by running a car with JR Motorsports in the fall of 2010,” Lionel CEO Howard Hitchcock said. “So what better way to celebrate our 10th anniversary than by sponsoring Noah Gragson’s Chevrolet in our own backyard? As a longtime die-cast collector himself, Noah is a great ambassador for the hobby.”
The company has been taking advantage of the opportunity – hosting a variety of giveaways on social media using the hashtag #DrivenByDiecast.

It seems that die-cast related paint schemes could bring the Las Vegas, Nevada native some luck on his side in his quest for his first NASCAR Xfinity Series title.
Earlier this year at Bristol, while carrying Plan B Sales as the primary sponsor, Noah claimed his first Bristol win in the series. Plan B Sales is a popular online die-cast dealer, similar to Lionel Racing.
With 21 top-10 finishes and two wins this season, Gragson currently sits fourth in the points and will look to punch his ticket into the next round of the NASCAR Xfinity Series playoffs on Saturday.
Fans can watch the #DrivenByDiecast hit the track on Saturday, October 10th at 3:30pm on NBC and the NBC Sports App.
