Talladega Boulevard is undoubtedly going to be busy tonight, after Noah Gragson captured the victory in Saturday’s Ag-Pro 300 at Talladega Superspeedway, his second victory of the season.

The Las Vegas, Nevada-native held off a hard-charging Jeffrey Earnhardt in triple-overtime at the 2.66-mile superspeedway to capture his seventh victory in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Gragson, driving the No. 9 for JR Motorsports, took the lead for the final time when his teammate Justin Allgaier stumbled on the race’s final restart. Capitalizing on the field’s loss of momentum, the 23-year-old was able to lead the pack to the checkered flag.

Jeffrey Earnhardt maneuvered his No. 3 ForeverLawn Chevrolet Camaro in the runner-up spot in the closing laps, but couldn’t gather the momentum needed to make a run at Gragson for his first career victory.

AJ Allmendinger finished in third, collecting the Xfinity $100,000 Dash 4 Cash bonus for the second race in a row for Kaulig Racing. Ryan Sieg finished in fourth, with Landon Cassill rounding out the top five.

Anthony Alfredo, Riley Herbst, Joe Graf Jr, Myatt Snider, and Brett Moffitt rounded out the top-10 finishers in Saturday’s 300-mile event.

The race featured a total of 10 caution flags for 39 laps, including a myriad of multi-car accidents, in true Talladega style.

Exiting Talladega, AJ Allmendinger continued to hold a sizable margin in the series regular-season point standings over Noah Gragson, with Ty Gibbs sitting third place in point standings. Josh Berry and Brandon Jones also hold a place inside the top-five in points.
