The No. 78 Live Fast Motorsports machine, which will be piloted this weekend by road racing ace Andy Lally, has failed pre-qualifying / pre-race inspection three times. Per the NASCAR rulebook, Lally will not be permitted to qualify the car on Saturday, which means he will start last, and he’ll have to serve a pass-through penalty after taking the green flag in Sunday’s race.

Additionally, the No. 78 team has lost their team engineer Christopher Stanley for the weekend.

While the No. 78 team failed inspection three times, four other teams failed twice, which will lead to a team member being ejected for all four of those teams.

The No. 77 Spire Motorsports car, which is driven this week by Josh Bilicki, will lose their engineer Nicholas Sowa for the weekend.

The No. 50 The Money Team Racing car, which is driven this week by Kaz Grala, will lose their chassis specialist Richard Tassinari for the weekend.

The No. 66 MBM Motorsports car, which is driven this week by Boris Said, will lose their chassis specialist Zachary Ford for the weekend.

The No. 6 RFK Racing car, which is driven by Brad Keselowski, will lose their car chief Nick Case for the weekend. The No. 6 team is currently appealing a L2-level penalty that was levied following last Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
