When Stages were brought into NASCAR, the sanctioning body said that Stage lengths were open to adjustment at any time. Tuesday, this week’s race at Daytona International Speedway was announced to have new Stage lengths.

In year’s past, the Coke Zero 400 consisted of a 40-lap Stage 1, a 40-lap Stage 2 and an 80-lap final Stage.

Now, this year’s edition will consist of a 50-lap Stage 1, a 50-lap Stage 2 and a 60-lap Final Stage.
