As Matt Tifft continues his recovery from a seizure that he suffered at Martinsville in October, the driver and his former team Front Row Motorsports have officially parted ways.
Front Row Motorsports made the news official on Wednesday, by way of a statement from Tifft and team owner Bob Jenkins on social media:
TEAM UPDATE: Front Row Motorsports and @matt_tifft have mutually agreed to end their agreement as Tifft continues to focus on his health.
We would like to thank Matt for being a part of Front Row Motorsports and wish him all the best moving forward.https://t.co/CWHe4KMJ6O pic.twitter.com/4VlXAhPrfy

This allows Tifft to focus solely on his health without the worry of having a race team and sponsor waiting on him.
Nemechek has filled in for Tifft over the last two weekends and he has been the highest finishing FRM driver each week.
