It’s been a rough start to the 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season for the upstart G2G Racing team, and in particular their full-time driver Matt Jaskol.

On Friday, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Jaskol DNQed for the second time in as many races by turning the next-to-last qualifying speed in the qualifying session.

However, Jaskol will be moving over to the team’s No. 46 truck, which had been piloted by Brennan Poole this week, for Friday’s race. Jaskol confirmed the driver swap in a Tweet after NCWTS qualifying.

According to Jaskol’s tweet, the team ran into issues after practice and were not able to get new tires bolted onto their No. 47 truck before qualifying began.

Jaskol will make his first start of the 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season in Friday’s Victoria’s Voice Foundation 200 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The 37-year old driver has made six NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, all of which came last season.
