Mario Gosselin, who owns the DGM Racing team in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, will be strapping his racing helmet back on — for the first time in four years — in the 2021 season opening NXS event at Daytona International Speedway. According to a release from DGM Racing, Gosselin will run the No. 91 machine, which will be sponsored by AP Sports Regimen.

“I’m living the dream,” said Gosselin in a team release. “I have worked with these drivers from behind the wall week in and week out for years, now I get the opportunity to have it come full circle and go out and have some fun on track with them! We joke about racing each other quite a bit and now it’s actually coming to fruition thanks to AP Sports Regimen™ and Caesar Bacarella.”

The news of Gosselin returning behind the wheel was first reported by R.J. Starevec (@NASCARReport on Instagram), who had an interview with Caesar Bacarella where the news was shared. Monday’s press release confirmed the report from NASCARReport.

Gosselin, 49, has made 92 starts in the NASCAR National Series ranks including 43 in the NACAR Xfinity Series. Gosselin is also a three-time winner in the ARCA Menards Series and he won an incredible 19 races and took the 1997 championship in the USAR Pro Cup Series.
