With 17 laps left in Stage 2, Kevin Harvick worked his way around Kyle Busch for the race lead, and the Championship 4 contender looked to be heading toward an easy Stage 2 win.

However, Busch would reel him back in and with three laps left in the Stage, the two would wage a war for the Stage win.

Busch ultimately prevailed in the fight and took the Stage win.

Harvick would hang on to finish the Stage in second, while Kyle Larson finished third in Stage 2.

Martin Truex Jr., who won Stage 1 and has dominated the race so far as he’s led 98 laps, rebounded to finish Stage 2 in fourth.

Truex was leading when it became apparent that his pit crew accidentally put the tires on the wrong side of his car during a pit stop in Stage 2. Truex was forced to pit road to correct the issue and fell a lap down in 13th.

However, a caution put him back on the lead lap and he rebounded inside the top-five to end Stage 2.

Ryan Blaney rounded out the top-five in Stage 2.

Denny Hamlin was the lowest-finishing championship contender in Stage 2 as he finished sixth.

Joey Logano, Erik Jones, Jimmie Johnson and Clint Bowyer finished in spots seven through 10.

Now, there are just 107 laps left to decide a champion in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
