Well, it may be a rough day for the field Sunday in the NASCAR Cup Series Fan Shield 500 at Phoenix Raceway.

Nine-time Phoenix race winner, Kevin Harvick got it done and took the Stage 1 win in Sunday’s race. He’s had the best car on the long-run all weekend. Can he be beat?

We will see. Regardless, Harvick now has a Playoff Point in his back pocket, as well as 10 regular season points for his Stage Win.

Chase Elliott, who led 61 laps in Stage 1, finished runner-up in the opening Stage of the race.

Joey Logano came from nowhere to finish third, while Matt DiBenedetto and Kyle Busch rounded out the top-five in Stage 1.

Alex Bowman, Martin Truex Jr., Aric Almirola, Tyler Reddick and Erik Jones finished sixth thru 10th and also collected Stage Points for their efforts.

The race was slowed by two cautions in Stage 1. The first, for Ricky Stenhouse Jr. backing into the wall. The second for a multi-car crash involving Denny Hamlin, Brad Keselowski and Ryan Blaney.

Blaney, the point leader coming into the day, is done for the day due to the damage his car sustained.
