It’s been a Kevin Harvick kind of day in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Drydene 311 at Dover International Speedway. Harvick has led 104 laps through the opening two Stages of the race, and after a dominating performance in Stage 2, he has now swept Stages 1 and 2 of the race. Harvick is looking for his seventh race win of 2020.

During the second Stage, Harvick clinched the regular season NCS championship, which will give him an additional 15 Playoff Points, which will carry through each round of the Playoffs, which begin after next weekend’s race at Daytona International Speedway.

Joey Logano ended Stage 2 in second, while Saturday’s Dover winner Denny Hamlin finished third.

Martin Truex Jr. came home fourth in Stage 2, and he was flanked by Ryan Blaney in fifth. Blaney had a heck of a time holding off William Byron for that fifth position.

Behind Byron were Alex Bowman, Cole Custer, Jimmie Johnson and Brad Keselowski, who rounded out the top-10.

There was a 12-minute red flag for track repairs as a section of the concrete surface, which had been repaired on Saturday, began to come up. The track was able to make repairs and the race continued.

There was one caution for a slight incident in Stage 2 as Corey LaJoie received a tap from Ty Dillon on lap 99. However, LaJoie was able to save the car from spinning totally around.
