As Daniel Hemric moves to Kaulig Racing for the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, and he seeks a second-consecutive Series Championship, he’ll head to Daytona International Speedway with a fresh new look.

AG1, a foundational nutrition drink by Athletic Greens, will be plastered on the No. 11 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet Camaro in the season-opening Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner. 300.

For Hemric, his new sponsor is more than just a logo on his car, it’s a path to preparing his body for the grueling NASCAR Xfinity Series season.

“It’s important for me to keep my body in the best condition both physically and mentally,” said Hemric in a team release. “AG1 has become a huge part of my daily routine and helps me prepare for the demands of driving a racecar for hundreds of miles, while ensuring my body gets back the nutrients it needs. The grueling conditions inside the car take a toll on my body, so it’s vital for me to replenish it with AG1.”

Athletic Greens is ready to help push Hemric and the Kaulig Racing team to the next level in 2022.

“We’re pleased to partner with Kaulig Racing and debut our sponsorship of their team at the NASCAR Xfinity Series season opener,” said Chris Ashenden, CEO and Founder of Athletic Greens. “AG1 was created with the mission of helping people improve their health and nutrition, and we’re excited to see longtime AG1 member Daniel Hemric demonstrate how it’s helped him maintain high performance and extreme focus throughout the busy NASCAR schedule.”

Bring fast cars is one piece of the puzzle to a successful NASCAR season for race teams, but Chris Rice, president of Kaulig Racing, says bringing healthy choices into the team member’s lives is equally important.

“As we continue to grow at Kaulig Racing we are constantly seeking partners who not only elevate our program but enhance our daily health – that’s what we have found with AG1 from Athletic Greens,” said Chris Rice, president of Kaulig Racing. “It is important that our team members – drivers, crew and myself – maintain healthy habits and high performance throughout the season and that all starts with Athletic Greens.”

Hemric, 31, scored his first-career NASCAR Xfinity Series victory in the final race of the season in 2021, which also secured him his first NASCAR National Series championship. Hemric, who had driven for Joe Gibbs Racing in 2021, announced a move to Kaulig Racing for 2022 on September 25th.

In 2021, Kaulig Racing scored seven total wins between their three teams in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, and AJ Allmendinger made the Championship 4 for the organization last year. In 2022, they’ll look to go hunting for even more trophies.
