Justin Allgaier, Hoping For Reversal of Recent Luck, Wins Stage 2 of Xfinity Race at Pocono

Justin Allgaier’s luck in the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season has been absolutely atrocious. However, the driver of the No. 7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro is hoping to reverse that trend. In Sunday’s Pocono Green 225 at Pocono Raceway, he took the Stage 2 win over Austin Cindric.

Allgaier’s teammates, Noah Gragson and Daniel Hemric, were third and fourth, while rookie Riley Herbst was fifth in Stage 2.

Michael Annett, Myatt Snider, Ryan Sieg, Brett Moffitt and Jeremy Clements rounded out the top-10 in the Stage.

A few underdog drivers also had a solid finish in Stage 2, although they didn’t earn any Stage Points for their efforts. BJ McLeod was 11th, Jesse Little finished 12th, Ryan Vargas ended up 13th and Tommy Joe Martins finished 14th.
