Inspection Complete: Sheldon Creed Officially Wins Phoenix Race, Truck Championship

Sheldon Creed is your official 2020 NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series champion as his No. 2 truck has successfully passed the post-race engine teardown, which was conducted on Saturday morning.

All results and standings from Friday’s race at Phoenix are now considered official.


Post-race technical inspection following Friday’s NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Lucas Oil 150 at Phoenix Raceway has been completed.

Sheldon Creed’s race-winning No. 2 Chevrolet Silverado has passed. All that is left is the post-race engine teardown, which will take place Saturday morning.

Upon clearing engine teardown, Creed will officially be the winner of Friday’s race and he’ll be the 2020 NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series champion.

No issues were discovered in post-race inspection. As such, all results and standings will be considered official after engine teardown.
