Inspection Complete: Michael McDowell Officially Wins 2021 Daytona 500

Post-race technical inspection following Sunday’s Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway has been completed.

Michael McDowell’s race-winning No. 34 Ford Mustang has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared him the official winner of the race.

No issues were discovered in post-race tech, which means that all results and standings are now considered official.
