Post-race technical inspection following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Coca-Cola 600 has been completed.

Kyle Larson’s race-winning No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared Larson the official winner of the race. This is Larson’s second win of the 2021 season, and his eighth win in NASCAR Cup Series competition throughout his career.

Hendrick Motorsports is officially the winningest organization in NASCAR Cup Series history with 269 wins, they have surpassed Petty Enterprises with the victory.

William Byron’s No. 24 car and Alex Bowman’s No. 48 car each had one unsecured lug nut, which will result in a monetary fine for their crew chiefs.

Justin Haley’s No. 77 car had two unsecured lug nuts, which will result in a fine and a suspension for his crew chief.

No other issues were discovered in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following the race are now considered official.
