Post-race technical inspection following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Wise Power 400 at Auto Club Speedway has been completed.

Kyle Larson’s race-winning No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared Larson and his team the official winners of the race.

This is Larson’s 17th-career NASCAR Cup Series victory, and it’s his first of the 2022 season. Sunday’s race marked the first NASCAR Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway since 2020.

Larson, 29, led four times on the day for a total of 28 laps, in the 200 lap race. Larson ended up scoring the win after outdueling Daniel Suarez and Austin Dillon in the closing laps.

No issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following Sunday’s race are now considered official.

Austin Dillon finished the race in second in the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet Camaro, while Erik Jones, in the iconic No. 43 car, came home third.

Daniel Suarez finished an impressive fourth and Joey Logano ended the day in fifth-place finish.
