Post-race technical inspection following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series GoBowling.com at The Glen at Watkins Glen International has been completed.

Kyle Larson’s race-winning No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro has passed. As a result, NASCAR has officially declared Larson and his team the winners of the race.

This marks Larson’s fifth points-paying win of the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season, and it is his 11th-career win in NCS competition. With the win, Larson has also tied Denny Hamlin for the regular season point lead, with three races left until the Playoffs begin.

The regular season champion receives 15 bonus Playoff points that carry through every round of the Playoffs.

Kyle Busch’s No. 18 car and Anthony Alfredo’s No. 38 car each had one unsecured lug nut. That will result in monetary fines for their crew chiefs.

No other issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all result and standings, following the race, are now considered official.
