Inspection Complete: Kurt Busch Officially Wins at Las Vegas

Post-race technical inspection following Sunday night’s NASCAR Cup Series South Point 400 has been completed.

Kurt Busch’s race-winning No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared him the official winner of the race.

Kurt Busch’s No. 1 car, Matt DiBenedetto’s No. 21 car and John Hunter Nemechek’s No. 38 car each had one unsecured lug nut, which will result in a monetary fine for their crew chiefs.

No other issues were discovered during post-race inspection and all results and standings are now considered official.
