Jeffrey Earnhardt heads to Bristol Motor Speedway looking for a strong run, after announcing this past week that he would be the driver of the No. 0 Chevrolet Camaro for JD Motorsports for the remainder of the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.
Earnhardt and JD Motorsports will welcome back local grocery store chain Food City, as they extend their partnership with JD Motorsports as a co-primary partner on Earnhardt’s No. 0 Chevrolet for Monday Night’s event at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Food City is a brand easily recognizable by NASCAR fans at Bristol Motor Speedway, as the brand has been the title sponsor of the NASCAR Cup Series event every spring since 1992.
Food City first established their partnership with JD Motorsports in last years NASCAR Xfinity Series event, providing sponsorship for all four of the team’s Chevrolet Camaros.
Sharing space on Earnhardt’s No. 0 Chevrolet Camaro Monday Night will be Medek Health, who will make their first ever appearance on a JD Motorsports Chevrolet at Bristol, after recently announcing a new partnership with the four-car organization.
Earnhardt, who will run the rest of the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule for JD Motorsports, reunites with the race team after driving full-time for the team in 2014, earning his best finish of the season (12th) at Bristol.
In six NASCAR Xfinity Series starts at Bristol Motor Speedway, the 30-year old has earned two top-fifteen finishes, a 12th place finish for JD Motorsports in 2014, as well as a 15th place finish for the now defunct Viva Motorsports in 2015.
