David Gravel, a 54-time feature winner in the World of Outlaws, looks like he’ll be making his NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series debut this weekend at Michigan International Speedway.

Gravel is on the preliminary entry list under the No. 24 Chevrolet Silverado for GMS Racing and the sponsor is listed as ChevyGoods.com.

The 28-year old dirt racing star made his paved oval debut at Daytona International Speedway in the ARCA Menards Series back in February. Gravel finished 12th in the 33-car field for that race.

Gravel, who won the 2019 Knoxville Nationals in an Axalta sponsored sprint car with Jeff Gordon on site as a special guest, was expected to compete and contend for the win at the 2020 NGROTS Eldora Dirt Derby in an Axalta sponsored No. 24 truck, but COVID-19 scrapped that event.

Gravel and GMS Racing announced in the offseason that they had five other races scheduled for 2020 with a sponsor to be announced at a later date.
