Joe Gibbs Racing has easily had the fastest cars in the event today at Daytona International Speedway’s Road Course with Kyle Busch, Martin Truex, Jr. and Denny Hamlin showing immense speed early on the race.

Using the same strategy play that Chase Elliott used to win stage one, Denny Hamlin and his Joe Gibbs Racing team have stayed out to win stage two. Clint Bowyer, Ryan Blaney, William Byron, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., Ryan Preece and Corey LaJoie all stayed out to try and score points as well.

With more than a full fuel run left in this race, along with the possibility of percipitation looming near, things could get very exciting for stage three.

Stage and Playoff Points Awarded in Stage 2:

Finish Driver Stage Points Playoff Points
1 Denny Hamlin 10 1
2 Clint Bowyer 9 0
3 Ryan Blaney 8 0
4 William Byron 7 0
5 Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. 6 0
6 Ryan Preece 5 0
7 Martin Truex, Jr. 4 0
8 Chase Elliott 3 0
9 Kevin Harvick 2 0
10 Kurt Busch 1 0
