A new report from NASCAR via Bob Pockrass confirms that Hemric has failed inspection, however, a crew member will not be ejected.
Additionally, Hemric will lose pit selection for next week’s race.
The Hemric car failed three times and NASCAR confirms he will go to the rear today and loses pit selection next week. In Xfinity, a crew member typically doesn't get ejected until fourth failure (different for a series that has fewer members on the roster).

As a result of the failure, Hemric is expected to lose his starting position for today’s race, as well as a crew member per the NASCAR Rule book. Hemric was supposed to roll off fifth.
His Joe Gibbs Racing teammates of Harrison Burton, Brandon Jones, and Ty Gibbs are expected to roll off fourth, 14th, and 38th respectively with Hemric expected to fall to the rear.
