Video: Ryan Preece Sends Ryan Blaney into the Wall with Shove in Turn 2

Man, Ryan Blaney had a pretty decent car, but his No. 12 Menards Ford Mustang is junked now.

On Lap 182, Blaney received a shot from the back from Ryan Preece as he was heading into Turn 2. The shot from Preece sent Blaney’s car to the right, and he went hard into the wall with the right front of his car.

Here is onboard footage from Preece’s car, which shows how the incident started:

Blaney’s team was able to make repairs to his car, but the team had too many men over the wall during the repairs, which resulted in a two-lap penalty from NASCAR, which is in line with the damaged vehicle policy. The driver of the No. 12 machine is still logging laps, and sits 34th, eight laps off the pace at Lap 207.
