We have fisticuffs in North Wilkesboro! Ricky Stenhouse Jr. threatened that he would see Kyle Busch after the race, and the driver of the No. 47 JTG Daugherty Racing driver did just that, and more.
After Stenhouse was shipped into the outside wall on Lap 2 of the 200-lap NASCAR All-Star Race, he was forced to sit and stew about the incident for the next 198 laps.
Joey Logano crossed the finish line to cap off a dominant win in the All-Star Race. As the field stopped on pit road, Busch climbed from his car and began to briskly walk back to the garage with NASCAR Security and Media in tow. As he reached his No. 8 team hauler, Busch was met by a still-seething Stenhouse.
After the two drivers had a brief disagreement about what transpired early in the race, Stenhouse was tired of talking and he telegraphed a right fist to Busch’s face.
After the punch, NASCAR Security attempted to break the fight up, and in doing so actually tackled Busch and Stenhouse into stacks of tires inside the garage area. Then team members all became involved, and things got even more nasty as Richard Childress Racing team members attempted to toss JTG Daugherty Racing crew members off of the lift gate of the No. 8 team hauler.
