If Ford Performance racing fans were not jazzed up enough about the Mustang’s arrival in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series for 2019, Ford helped stoke the fire even more when they released a video on their YouTube channel on Thursday.

The video showcases the 2019 Cup Series Ford Mustang, which is being driven by Joey Logano at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval. However, it’s not what you’d expect as Formula DRIFT champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. rolls up on Logano in his specially equipped drifting Mustang.

The two spend the rest of the video drifting and doing donuts.

Pretty cool video, but my only question is: do you think NASCAR will allow the Ford drivers to use those rims that are on Logano’s Mustang in actual race conditions?
