Video: Kyle Larson Loses Brakes, Slams into Ty Dillon at Full Speed in Turn One

Ty Dillon and Kyle Larson are both alright after a huge accident inside the final 25 laps of Sunday’s Verizon 200 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Road Course, which started when Larson’s No. 5 lost brakes entering turn one.

Oh my goodness, that was a NASTY accident.

Kyle Larson and Ty Dillon are without a doubt out of Sunday’s Verizon 200 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Road Course, after a major accident inside the final 25 laps of the event, which caused extreme damage to both entries.

The crash happened when Kyle Larson’s No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro lost brakes at full speed while entering the first corner, with the defending series champion flying into the corner, and slamming into Ty Dillon’s No. 42 at over 100mph.

Larson’s car jumped the curbing on the inside of the track entering turn one, which made the impact look more brutal, sending both cars into the grass.

Both Ty Dillon and Kyle Larson exited their vehicles without assistance and will go to the infield care center to get evaluated.
