Well. We’ve wadded up some fast cars in Sunday’s GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway immediately following a restart in the middle of the race’s second stage.

The accident happened with Martin Truex Jr. attempting to connect the outside lane on the restart by dragging the brake, causing a stack-up between the cars behind, eventually resulting in Bubba Wallace turning Joey Logano.

Logano spun up the track and into the outside wall, before coming down the track and collecting multiple cars in the middle of the pack.

Among those involved were Daniel Suarez, Austin Cindric, Harrison Burton, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Todd Gilliland, Ty Dillon, Cole Custer, Joey Logano, Bubba Wallace, Martin Truex Jr., and Erik Jones.

The damage would force an early end to the afternoon for Daniel Suarez, Joey Logano, Ty Dillon, and Harrison Burton, while all others involved were able to continue in the event.
