Video: Field Stacks Up, Justin Haley and Christopher Bell Get Turned

The first caution for an on-track accident finally came on Lap 133 of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. As the field in front of him slowed down, Justin Haley got turned by Chase Elliott, who had no clue the field was slowing down.

That impact from Elliott sent Haley into the right rear of Christopher Bell’s No. 20 car. The contact from Haley onto Bell sent Bell nose-first into the outside wall.

Behind Haley and Bell, Ryan Blaney received a shot to the rear from Zane Smith. Chase Briscoe also went for a spin to the inside of the track.

The damage sustained in the crash ended the day for Bell, who will be relegated to a last-place finish. Everybody else that was involved was able to soldier on.
