Video: Austin Cindric Turned from Race-Lead to Trigger Massive 28-Car Accident at Talladega

That was HUGE.

Austin Cindric was leading in the final laps of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series event at Talladega Superspeedway when a major bump from Brad Keselowski turned the No. 2 in front of the pack, collecting the entire pack.

The disturbance came after the leaders lapped Todd Gilliland on the backstretch, allowing Cindric to get far out in front, which accordioned the pack back to the leader, and made the bump incredibly aggressive.

A mind-boggling 28 vehicles were involved in the accident that sent the YellaWood 500 into NASCAR Overtime.

Austin Cindric, Josh Berry, Brad Keselowski, Chase Elliott, Noah Gragson, AJ Allmendinger, Chase Briscoe, Shane Van Gisbergen, Chris Buescher, Martin Truex, Jr., Christopher Bell, Harrison Burton, Joey Logano, Bubba Wallace, Daniel Hemric, Michael McDowell, Todd Gilliland, Ryan Preece, John Hunter Nemechek, Erik Jones, Tyler Reddick, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., Alex Bowman, Corey LaJoie, Anthony Alfredo, Zane Smith, Carson Hocevar, and Daniel Suarez were collected in the wreck.
