Ross Chastain, a full-time competitor in the NASCAR Cup Series for Trackhouse Racing, has been tapped by Kaulig Racing to compete in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Michigan International Speedway.
The Alva, Florida native, who has accumulated 200 starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series over the last decade, will reunite with the race-winning operation for the first time since the conclusion of his full-time stint with the team in 2020.
Chastain will pilot the No. 10 Chevrolet Camaro for Saturday’s Cabo Wabo 250 at the two-mile facility in Brooklyn, Michigan. Sponsorship for the effort will be provided by Jockey, the company that will sponsor his NASCAR Cup Series entry on Sunday.
The 30-year-old driver has made six previous starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Michigan, the most recent of which was a 14th-place result for JD Motorsports in 2019. In six starts, Chastain has accumulated five top-20s, and a facility-best 12th in 2014.

With the addition of Chastain to the organization’s driver lineup, Kaulig Racing has now tapped both of Trackhouse Racing’s full-time NASCAR Cup Series drivers to compete in an Xfinity Series event this season, along with the team’s owner, Justin Marks.
The organization’s No. 10 Chevrolet Camaro, dubbed an All-Star Entry by Kaulig Racing for 2023, has included the likes of NASCAR Cup Series drivers Kyle Busch, AJ Allmendinger, Justin Haley, Austin Dillon, and Kyle Larson.
Additionally, Jordan Taylor and Derek Kraus have also taken turns behind the wheel of the Chevrolet Camaro, which has visited victory lane on three different occasions – Circuit of The Americas, Darlington, and Nashville.
Saturday’s 250-mile contest from Michigan will mark the fourth Xfinity Series start of the year for Chastain, thus far, having contested events at Auto Club, Darlington, and Sonoma in the No. 91 for DGM Racing. Chastain will also compete in the series event at Indy’s Road Course.
