Candy Dynamics and its popular brand Toxic Waste Hazardously Sour Candy will join forces with Brennan Poole and JD Motorsports at Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Road Course on August 12th, serving as primary sponsor of the No. 6 Chevrolet Camaro.

The Indianapolis-based company is the creator of several popular candy brands, including the internet’s favorite candy, Slime Licker, as well as popular candy Toxic Waste. The inspiration for creating Toxic Waste was simple – to have the most sour candy available on the market.

In 2015, Toxic Waste expanded its product listing by introducing Slime Licker, a Toxic Waste Sour Rolling Candy. With the emergence of TikTok, Slime Lickers has been trending across the platform, with videos garnering more than 265 million views.

“I’m excited to be behind the wheel of the No. 6 Toxic Waste Hazardously Sour Candy Chevrolet for the first time,” said Brennan Poole, who celebrated his 100th NASCAR Xfinity Series start earlier this season. “The paint scheme is simply amazing, and I know there will be more than 50 employees from Candy Dynamics at the race, so it is going to be a lot of fun to spend time with them.”

The 32-year-old driver is currently in the midst of contesting his first full season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in more than a half-decade. In the opening 20 events of the season, Poole secured a season-high fifth-place result at Talladega Superspeedway.

“We at Candy Dynamics, being an Indianapolis-based company, have been race fans for a very long time,” said Laura King, President of Candy Dynamics. “We are excited to team up with driver and sour-candy connoisseur Brennan Poole. We have dreamed of sponsoring a car for years. Now, to see that dream come true in our hometown is a huge thrill for all of us.”

The Pennzoil 150 Presented by Advance Auto Parts will mark the first time that Poole has competed at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course, where he’ll have only 20 minutes of practice, and a group qualifying session prior to taking the green flag.
