On Wednesday, RFK Racing officially revealed one of the brand new looks for the No. 17 team’s Ford Mustang Dark Horse for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. Fastenal returns as a primary sponsor for Chris Buescher, and the new paint scheme is visually stunning.
The car features a white base color, while the front bumper and hood cut through the white design with a bold Fastenal-blue feature, which contains the company’s logo inside of it. The blue portion on the front of the car has spikes that extend down each side of the car, in what almost looks like the old Team Penske “scallops” from a few years ago.
Above the Fastenal branding on the hood is the tagline, “Where Industry Meets Innovation.”
As RFK Racing has done since chrome numbers were approved to return to NASCAR Cup Series race cars in 2022, the No. 17 Fastenal Ford Mustang will carry chrome blue numbers on the sides of the car.
Another returning RFK Racing paint scheme feature is the associate sponsorship dock at the bottom of the car behind the numbers on the doors. The Dock features three swoopy blue squares, the first of which has a bar that extends to the rear wheel and serves as the “roof” of the associate sponsorship area.
Inside of that bar are the words “Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing,” which amounts to the team’s full name.
The Fastenal logo is bold and black on the sides of the car, which serves as a perfect contrast to the white base color of the car. Behind the quarter panel Fastenal logo is another scalloped blue box, which snuggles around the Fastenal logo.
While the Fastenal brand has had several paint scheme designs on the No. 17 car in 2024, the main Fastenal scheme this season was a much darker take overall than the upcoming look for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Overall, the 2025 No. 17 Fastenal paint scheme features a spiffy, bold, and refreshed look from 2024’s edition.
