So, Landon Cassill was replaced by Quin Houff at StarCom Racing, right? Well, maybe not.

On Wednesday, after a report from Frontstretch.com surfaced stating that Cassill could run full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for Morgan Shepherd’s race team if proper funding comes along, Cassill fired off a tweet saying, that he already has a full-time commitment for the 2020 season.

Wait, so he’s still with StarCom Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series? It appears so. It looks like StarCom Racing will be potentially expanding to two cars in 2020, according to Cassill’s Tweet.

This falls in line with a statement that StarCom Racing sent out following the announcement that Quin Houff would be driving the team’s No. 00 car full-time in 2020 and 2021.

At the time, StarCom Racing stated that they still had a commitment that they were intent on fulfilling with Cassill this upcoming season. Now, Cassill has echoed that statement.

StarCom Racing has run two cars from their stable in the past. In 2018, the team fielded a No. 99 car in 18 races.
