Kyle Larson Sweeps Weekend at Copper Classic in Arizona, Now at 45 Dirt Wins in 2020

Kyle Larson has been rolling all season long on the dirt. Saturday night, Larson followed up his Friday night win in the Copper Classic at Arizona by capping off the weekend with a sweep of the action.

Unlike on Friday night, Larson didn’t dominate the action. Instead he had a solid battle with Rico Abreu all race long.

With eight laps left, Larson got around Abreu and went on to take the win in his No. 57 winged sprint car. His 45th of the 2020 season on dirt.

Carson Macedo got around Rico Abreu late to finish second while Abreu held on to finish third.

55 cars attempted to make the feature through the heats, before the field was whittled to 24 cars.
