Mother Nature just wouldn’t let the racers race on Saturday at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Persistent inclement weather forced NASCAR to cancel NASCAR Cup Series practice and qualifying for Sunday’s Bank of America 400. Additionally, Saturday’s NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series event has been postponed until Sunday evening at 8 PM ET.
Due to the cancellation of Cup Series qualifying, Kyle Larson, the series point leader, will start from the pole position in Sunday’s Bank of America 400.
Chase Briscoe, who won last weekend’s event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, will start from the outside of the front row.
Tyler Reddick, Ryan Blaney, and Austin Cindric will round out the top-five starters in the starting lineup.
