Kyle Busch Running 2025 Chili Bowl Nationals

Kyle Busch, a two-time champion of the NASCAR Cup Series, will be making his debut in the 39th Chili Bowl Midget Nationals Powered by NOS Energy Drink in January, the driver announced on Thursday.

A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, Busch will drive the No. 51 Midget with sponsorship from NASCAR Cup Series partner Lucas Oil and Chili Bowl Nationals streaming partner FloRacing.

Busch has won a combined 231 events across the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and is one of NASCAR’s most noteworthy drivers.

The 39-year-old driver will compete in USAC National Midget events at Bakersfield Speedway (November 26) and Ventura Raceway (November 30). before competing in the Chili Bowl Nationals.

“The Cup season may be over, but the racing season is still in full swing with the biggest events on dirt taking place over the next couple of months,” Busch said. “The Chili Bowl is a legendary event and has always been on my wish list. To be able to compete there, and then alongside my son Brexton at the Tulsa Shootout, is making this year one to remember.”

Busch, who competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series for Richard Childress Racing, will also compete in the Tulsa Shootout alongside son Brexton Busch (December 31 to January 4).

Last December, Busch competed in the Tulsa Shootout at the Tulsa Expo Raceway in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he went for a major tumble in the stock non-wing event.

In 2021, when competing in the Tulsa Shootout, Busch won a heat race, after driving through the pack from eighth to first.
