Post-race technical inspection following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway has been completed.
Kurt Busch’s race-winning No. 23 Jordan Brand 23XI Racing Toyota Camry has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared Busch and his team the official winners of the race.
This marks the first win of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season for the 43-year old driver and it is Busch’s 34th-career NASCAR Cup Series win. This is the second-ever victory for the 23XI Racing organization in NCS competition.
Busch is the 11th winner in the season’s opening 13 races. According to TobyChristie.com’s Joseph Srigley, this is only the second time in NASCAR Cup Series history that there have been 11 winners in the opening 13 races of a season, the other time being in 2003.
