In what was a dominating day for the Toyota Racing entries overall, Christopher Bell led 50 laps, won Stage 2, and cruised to his first victory of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. Bell’s win in Sunday’s Shriners Children’s 500 marked his first-career Cup win at the 1-mile Phoenix Raceway.

Following the win, Bell’s No. 20 Rheem Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry XSE was subjected to post-race technical inspection. After undergoing all of the prodding of post-race inspection, Bell’s car passed. As a result, NASCAR officials officially declared Bell and his No. 20 team the winners of the race.

Bell, 29, is now a seven-time winner in the NASCAR Cup Series ranks.

No issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings from the race are now considered official.

The No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and the No. 6 RFK Racing Ford Mustang will head to the NASCAR R&D Center for further inspection.

RFK Racing’s Chris Buescher officially scored a runner-up finish, which is his best finish through the season’s opening four races. Ty Gibbs took home a career-best finish with a third-place effort, and he was followed by Brad Keselowski and Ryan Blaney in the top-five.

Ross Chastain, Martin Truex Jr., Michael McDowell, Chase Briscoe, and Tyler Reddick rounded out the top-10 finishers in the race.
