Christopher Bell started third in Saturday night’s Jason Leffler Memorial USAC Midget race at Du Quoin, but on lap 13, Bell would get past Cannon McIntosh for the lead.

Bell wouldn’t look back as he dominated the 50-lap event and took home the $8,000 prize. McIntosh would finish runner-up, while Chance Crum rounded out the top-three finishers.

Bell’s win, is his first in the Leffler Memorial. Saturday night’s event was the eighth annual edition of the race honoring the late Jason Leffler.

Walkapedia, who sponsored Bell’s car in the event, shared video of the scene following the win:

Bell’s fellow NASCAR Cup Series competitor Chase Briscoe was in the field, and actually started from pole, but while running second in the back half of the event, Briscoe went for a spin, which ended his bid for the win.

Briscoe would still finish in 10th in the 20-car field.

Zach Daum, who entered the Main Event looking to become the first two-time winner of the Jason Leffler Memorial, came home in eighth.
