Chris Monez will no longer be the spotter for Kyle Larson in the NASCAR Cup Series next season, just four days after making the announcement that he would join the championship-winning organization as the spotter of the No. 5 Chevrolet.

Monez confirmed his dismissal from Hendrick Motorsports to TobyChristie.com on Tuesday Evening.

Hendrick Motorsports and Kyle Larson have yet to make a statement on Monez’s release and it is unclear if either party will make one. No replacement spotter has been named for Larson’s No. 5.

If provided, more information will follow.
