Chris Buescher will have a new primary sponsor on his No. 17 Roush Fenway Racing Ford Mustang as AutoTempest.com will adorn his car for two races this season.

According to a press release from RFR, the aggregator of online classified advertisements for cars will be on the hood of the No. 17 machine at Kansas Speedway on May 2nd and Circuit of the Americas on May 23rd.

“We’re excited to partner with a brand like AutoTempest that falls right into our wheelhouse when talking about cars,” Buescher said in the team release. “Any time we can welcome a new partner to the sport, it brings an extra element of excitement for the team. We can’t wait to put the AutoTempest Ford Mustang on track in a couple weeks in Kansas, and then again down the road when we visit a new track in my home state.”

Buescher has opened a lot of eyes in the opening nine races of the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season.

The Texas-native led 57 laps and won a Stage at Homestead, and he sits 16th in the championship standings with 17 races remaining until the Playoffs.

Buescher’s best finish this season was a seventh-place effort at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
